Material Catalog Browser & Price History

Browse your material catalog visually, track price history over time, and see spare part availability per equipment.

Material Catalog Browser

A new catalog browser lets you explore your material database visually. Browse materials by category, search across all fields, and see key details — stock levels, unit prices, and last order dates — without opening individual records. The catalog is available to both office and ship users, making it easier for vessel crews to identify the right part number when raising a requisition.

Price ranges are displayed directly in the catalog view, so you can quickly spot materials with significant price variation across suppliers. This helps procurement teams make more informed decisions about which vendors to approach for specific items.

Price History Tracking

Every material now has a price history view showing how unit prices have changed over time across different purchase orders and vendor quotations. See at a glance whether costs are trending up or down, compare prices across suppliers, and use historical data to negotiate better rates. Price history is automatically built from your procurement transactions — no manual entry required.

Equipment On-Hand Tracking

You can now see which spare parts are physically on hand for each piece of equipment. The equipment detail view shows linked materials and their current stock quantities at each location, making it straightforward to verify spare part availability before scheduling a maintenance job. When stock falls below minimum levels, it is flagged for reordering.

Material Coverage Analysis

A new coverage analysis shows whether your current stock levels are sufficient to meet upcoming requirements. See on-hand quantities compared against pending requisitions and minimum stock levels. Coverage data appears in purchase requisition and RFQ screens, helping procurement teams prioritize orders for materials that are running low across the fleet.
