Vendor Quotation Portal
Suppliers can now access a dedicated portal to view and respond to your quotation requests without needing a full Navatom account. When you send a Request for Quotation, the vendor receives a secure link to the portal where they can review the item list, enter their prices, and submit their quotation — all from a clean, straightforward interface.
This replaces the manual process of emailing spreadsheets back and forth. Vendor responses are captured directly in the system, making it easy to compare prices across suppliers using the award comparison view. The portal tracks which vendors have opened, started, and submitted their responses, giving procurement teams visibility into the quotation process.
Award Comparison
When multiple vendors have submitted quotations, the award comparison view shows all prices side by side for each line item. Highlight the best price per item, see total order costs per vendor, and make allocation decisions based on complete data. You can split an order across vendors when different suppliers offer the best price for different items.
Service Requests
A new service request capability lets you raise requests for services — repairs, inspections, calibrations — directly from material or equipment records. Service requests follow the same approval workflow as purchase requisitions, keeping all procurement activity in one system and ensuring proper authorization before engaging external service providers.
Procurement Access Controls
Fine-grained access rights are now available for procurement and inventory modules. Control who can create requisitions, approve purchase orders, manage vendors, and access pricing information. These permissions integrate with the existing role-based access system, so you can tailor procurement workflows to your organization's approval hierarchy.
